Celebrating dd's 9th b-day in Nov. We arrive the afternoon before her b-day. I want it to be magical and we'll go to MK on her b-day. Do you think the magic will diminish to do a bit of Epcot the first night?? Hate to waste a day of 5 day hopper.

    Hi LaDonna!

It sounds like you have a great plan! I think that spending some time at Epcot on your arrival day will be a nice introduction to the magic. You can have a wonderful time walking through the World Showcase and enjoying the attractions in Future World. There are so many excellent restaurants to choose from in Epcot, and you will probably enjoy relaxing while enjoying a good meal after your day of travel.

I absolutely don't think that visiting Epcot the evening before you go to the Magic Kingdom will spoil the magic. It doesn't matter how many times I've been to WDW. Every single time I enter the Magic Kingdom, I get the same happy feeling. There is really nothing else quite like it.

I hope your daughter has a fantastic birthday at Disney World. Enjoy!
