We will be celebrating my daughter's 4th birthday at WDW! We planned Princess breakfast, but what fun thing could we do for the afternoon? The boys announced they will be golfing and it will be just girls (11, 9, 6, 4 and 2). Can't do BBB with a 2yr old.

Hi Julie!  What a great place to celebrate a birthday! I am sure your daughter will never forget her fourth!

There are many fun things to do while the boys are away on the links. If your princess breakfast is in the Magic Kingdom area you can hop on a boat and take a nice ride to Fort Wilderness. There you can visit the stables and Cinderella's ponies and the younger ones can even take a pony ride. It is a nice break from the busy parks and there is a fun playground near the marina as well. Stop in at Trails End for lunch or a snack before heading back to the Magic Kingdom.

If you are going to be in that park be sure and get a good curbside seat for the afternoon parade. After try some of the good ice cream along Main Street or get an advanced reservation for the Plaza restaurant where you can enjoy that in a nice air conditioned setting.  The little one can't enjoy Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique but you can all get advanced reservations for the Harmony Barbershop on Main Street for some sparkles and gel for the hair! Even you can play along and get some in your hair mom! I am sure that would be a fun time full of laughs and giggles.  To make that reservation you also call dining and ask for children's activities.

Since the boys are away you can also take this time to hit Downtown Disney for a shopping spree...what they don't know won't hurt them at least until you get home! Just kidding but the shopping is fun and you can enjoy designing your own t-shirts, Mickey ears, and candy at Goofy's. Anything you do will be special because you are together as a family!
