    We are celebrating my daughter's 13th Birthday while at WDW. We will be eating dinner at SciFi Dine-In Theater on her birthday. I want to surprise her with a birthday cake. Will they deliver the cake to the restaurant?

    Hello Jill!  Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

    It sounds like your daughter is in for dinner and a show with a far-out '50s-style  experience at Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant.

    I remember going to Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant a long time ago as a teenager for my birthday.  Even then, I was blown away with the attention to detail and theme of the restaurant and how the experience made for an unforgettable birthday celebration.

    As far as surprising you daughter with a birthday cake, your Walt Disney World Resort Vacation has got you covered.  You can choose from a variety of cakes and shapes (including a Mickey Mouse shaped cake), personalized for your daughter's birthday by calling (407)827-2253.  The cake will be prepared and delivered to your Walt Disney World Resort Dining Location for your special celebration (cakes are not delivered to Magic Kingdom, however).  For cake delivery, Advanced Dining Reservations are required and be sure to allow 72 business hours in advance for your order to be personalized.  In addition, most Table-Service dining locations have a 6" chocolate or vanilla cake available with no advanced notice.

    Be sure to pick up a Happy Birthday Celebration Button at Guest Services upon entering Disney's Hollywood Studios to help let Cast Members share their well wishes to your daughter on her special day.

    You may also want to consider Memory Maker for capturing your daughter's birthday memories using Disney's PhotoPass Photographers at various locations throughout Disney's Hollywood Studios.
