    We will be celebrating my daughter's 12th birthday while at WDW. A cast member says she will get a birthday button if you ask for it. What about a cake? May I order a cake?

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Mickey and Minnie Mouse will be delighted to welcome your daughter to the Walt Disney World Resort on her 12th birthday! I can think of no better way to celebrate a birthday!

    There are a number of different Celebration options. Yes, she should certainly request a birthday pin when you arrive at the resort. If she wears it, Cast Members throughout the parks and at the resort will notice! You can also order a specialty cake by calling 407-827-2253. Or, if you are looking for something more elaborate, I recommend ordering through Disney Floral & Gifts. There are several Birthday Gift Options to accommodate a range of family budgets. 

    In the past, we have ordered princess balloons for our girls and had them delivered to Cinderella's Royal Table. The balloons were beautiful and our girls were completely surprised.

    One of our favorite birthday celebrations is to dine at California Grill during the fireworks time at Magic Kingdom. Watching the fireworks from atop the Contemporary Resort is simply special. Be sure to make a Dining Reservation in advance.

    Whatever you decide, your daughter's birthday will be sprinkled with pixie dust, laughter, and love!
