Welcome to planDisney, Bruce. With
The World Most's Magical Celebration well and truly underway, you're coming to
Walt Disney World at the right time. How special it will be for your little princess to enjoy her birthday at
Magic Kingdom Park. I think that officially moves you up to "Pro-Level Dad" status. Well done to you, Bruce!
Having recently taken my own mini-Elsa to Walt Disney World, I'd suggest getting family photos in front of
Cinderella Castle (which looks majestic in its EARidescent colors). As a Disney dad, my favorite thing is to watch my daughter as she looks on in joyful wonder at the characters in
Mickey's Celebration Calvacade. In terms of attractions, Jungle Cruise, Peter Pan's Flight, Under the Sea ~ Journey of The Little Mermaid, Dumbo the Flying Elephant, Mad Tea Party, and "it's a small world" are certainly family favorites. If she's a little thrill-seeker, then maybe it's time to ride Big
Thunder Mountain Railroad and Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. You can also introduce her to my friend,
Mickey Mouse. I know that he'd love to meet the birthday girl. And there's nothing like finishing the night with
Disney Enchantment. If you are hoping for some extra pixie dust, then check out the
Enchanting Extras Collection. From carriage rides to fireworks cruises, these experiences can truly make it the best day EVER.
Outside of Magic Kingdom Park, there are lots of other things your daughter would love. If you want to captivate her imagination, then
EPCOT International Festival of Arts has plenty to offer,
especially for kids. If, like my own Wilderness Explorer, she loves animals, then
Kilimanjaro Safaris at
Disney's Animal Kingdom is a must!
I hope you have an enchanting trip and that all your daughter's dreams come true.
Mike
