Hi Nicole and welcome to planDisney!
A very merry unbirthday to your beautiful baby girl! It is such a pleasure to help you prepare for her special day. If she was still 2 on arrival day she wouldn't need to be included in purchasing Tickets. Since she's turning 3 on your arrival date, per Disney's Policy she will need
Tickets for the Disney Parks and valid
Theme Park Reservations just like the rest of your party. The same rules apply for paying for that meal at
Chef Mickey's. You aren't required to show proof of her age but you may be asked. Now on to the fun part!
My goddaughter, who refers to me as Neni, will be turning 9 this year and this will be the 3rd birthday she's celebrated with me at the Walt Disney World Resort. If you cant tell I take Fairy Godmotherhood very seriously. So here are a few tried and true Neni Godmother Birthday Tips to make sure your baby has a magical day.
Step 1: Get her a birthday pin. They'll have them at the Front Desk of your
Disney Resorts Collection hotel or at Guest Services in every Disney Park. Let her wear it every day of your trip so everyone can know it's her party!
Step 2: Go to
Magic Kingdom Park. Your girl needs some heavy-duty magic on her special day and nothing says magic like the sight of
Cinderella Castle. Fantasyland, Princess Fairytale Hall, and Disney Enchantment Fireworks will make her birthday come alive in ways you've never imagined.
Step 3: Take pictures! I know, this one's more about you than it's about her. But Mama she'll only be 3 once and you'll want these photos when she's a teenager and working on your last nerves and when she gets married and you want photos for the life montage video playing at the wedding. Buy her a balloon from the vendor on Main Street U.S.A. and photograph her in the grassy areas in front of Cinderella Castle. I did this with my goddaughter for her 5th birthday and every year I pull the photos out and cry.
Nicole, cherish this time with your baby girl. You'll have these magic memories of her for the rest of your life!
Happy planning!
Taylor
