We will be celebrating my daughter's 16th birthday onboard the Wonder in August. I would like to have a cake for her at dinner one night. I am also bringing a special cake topper I would like to have put on the cake. How would I arrange for all this?

    Hi Nancy,

Welcome to the Moms Panel!  I can't think of a better place for a child to celebrate their "sweet 16", and thankfully the folks on the Disney Cruise Line are all about celebrating!  They will be more than accommodating to help you make your meal extra special.  First I suggest that you be sure to notate this special celebration on your reservation, and specify which night you would like a birthday cake to be served during dessert.

Once in the dining room, you will more than likely be approached by your server about the birthday as they will be looking to confirm the date you would like this presentation.  At this time I would let them know you have the cake topper.  If your server doesn't' mention the note on your reservation, don't be bashful - simply mention it to them on the first night of your voyage.

I also suggest that you check out the selection of gifts you can purchase and have sent to your stateroom for a special celebration.  I've also used The Perfect Gift company in Port Canaveral, you can find them with a quick internet search;  they have amazing customizable baskets and fantastic customer service.

    Hope this helps!
