Hi. We are celebrating my daughter's 5th birthday in oct and we have lots of special events planned for her week long birthday celebration. My question is this...when they bring her cake to her at one of our dining reservations will the cast members sing?

    Hello Erin,

I can't think of anything more magical than spending a birthday at Disney World! That's why we just celebrated my daughter's eighth birthday there this month. And let me tell you, there was Pixie Dust galore! Sounds like you have some surprises up your sleeve too. Your Princess is in for the time of her life.

My daughter wore a celebration pin throughout our entire vacation announcing it was her birthday. We picked up a button at Guest Services at one of the Theme Parks. So Cast Members would surprise her with stickers or a special dessert at dinner. And with dessert, they would often - but not always - serenade her. But as an example, we ordered a podium cake at Chef Mickey's, and it was brought out to coincide with the hourly celebration it holds. So there was no individual singing there.

Hope this helps! And happy birthday to your Princess!

My family loves our Main Street in Ohio. But there's simply no comparison to Main Street U.S.A.! We don't get to Disney quite as often as I'd like, but that just means finding new ways to sprinkle Pixie Dust on our adventures! Learn More About Monina
