We will be celebrating my daughters birthday in early September, and will be attending the Wishes Dessert Party. I made reservations a few months ago. Is it first come first serve or are the tables reserved? What time should we arrive to get a good table?

    Hi Jillian,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question! I recently did the Wishes Fireworks Dessert Party with my family and we absolutely loved being able to indulge in some pretty awesome desserts while enjoying an awesome (seated) view of Wishes nighttime spectacular!

Because you’ll be attending a Party in September before the new dessert parties begin, your experience will likely be similar to mine. We didn’t have reserved seating, either - it was first come, first served, based on the size of your party. We checked in at the Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant about 25 minutes before our reservation time and, although we were by no means among the first Guests to check in, we still got a great table with an excellent view of the show. If you want to be among the first in line, I would recommend checking in 30-40 minutes before your reservation.

Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions. And happy birthday in advance to your daughter!

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
