We will be celebrating my daughters 3rd birthday at DW but won't be there on the exact day, we will be there the week before. What special birthday options are available? Do I need proof of age to get into the park? She's tall but really not 3 yet!

Any day at Walt Disney World is a special day, but a 3rd birthday is extra special!  Be sure to stop in for your complimentary birthday button at Guest Services in any of the four major theme parks or Downtown Disney.  You can also note your celebration on your dining reservations in which case your daughter might be treated to a special birthday song, birthday wish, certificate, or maybe even a cupcake.  No guarantees, though!  You can also call the front desk from your resort room and have them connect your daughter to Goofy, who will offer her a special birthday greeting.  Enjoy your celebration!

Given your inclination to plan a magical trip, I can already tell we have a lot in common. I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists. Let's work together to plan a downright dreamy vacation for your family! Learn More About Darcie
