Hi! We are celebrating my daughters 3rd birthday at Disney World. She will turn 3 on the first day we enter the parks. Will we be required to purchase a ticket for her for this trip and will she be considered 3 at our dining reservations?

    Hi, there!

Bobby, I'm so happy to see you'll be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort in just a matter of hours. Wahoo!

There's no better place to celebrate a birthday than at "The Most Magical Place on Earth." You and your family are sure to make lots of priceless memories during your daughter's special celebration! Your daughter's age will be based on your arrival date. If you arrive the day before her birthday, she will be "under the age of 3" for the length of your stay. If you arrive on her birthday, she will need theme park admission. She'll also be considered 3-years old for your dining reservations.

Be sure to visit the Front Desk of your Disney Resort hotel or Guest Relations at any of the four theme parks for a complimentary birthday button. With a birthday button, your little princess will receive lots of well wishes from Cast Members and Guests alike!

For an extra special birthday surprise, enlist the help of Disney Floral & Gifts. The friendly Dream Makers there can create an unforgettable gift for your birthday girl!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Bobby. We're wishing your family the most magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
