    We are celebrating my daughters 16th birthday while at disney. Besides a birthday button...what other options are there to make her day special?

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Celebrating birthdays and special occasions at the Walt Disney World Resort is just about as magical as it gets; there are so many ways to add "pixie dust" to your celebration! 

    One of the most unique ways to celebrate your daughter's sweet sixteen would be to book Wild Africa Trek in Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. This one of a kind (specialty priced) Tour allows you to get an up-close view of some of the animals on the savanna. You'll cross over a rope bridge and get to dangle over hippos and crocodiles while safely secured to a harness. You will also get to snack on African inspired cuisine while overlooking the gorgeous savanna. The view of the animals roaming the savanna is simply breathtaking! Disney PhotoPass photographers are on hand to capture your memories during this adventure and at the end of the Tour you will receive a photo code that you can use to access and download images taken during your Wild Africa Trek experience. It's truly an unforgettable experience.     Another special way to celebrate would be to book Ferrytale Wishes: A Fireworks Dessert Cruise. This dessert party takes place aboard a ferry boat where you'll enjoy a voyage full of delicious desserts, specialty beverages, and a gorgeous view of the Wishes Nighttime Spectacular. 

    You can give her the "Royal treatment" by Dining at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall in Epcot. Your princess can meet some of her favorite Disney Princesses while dining on an "All You Care To Enjoy" selection of yummy menu items.
