    We are celebrating my daughter's 4th birthday with dinner at Chef Mickey's. How much time should we allow to get from Hollywood Studios and what would be the best way to get there? Also, are the characters at Chef Mickey's at all times of the day? Thanks!

    Robert:

    All you have to do to get from Disney's Hollywood Studios to Chef Mickey's in the Contemporary Hotel is to take the Contemporary bus outside the park's gates in the bus area to the hotel.  The ride is only about 20 minutes or so and you'll be dropped off right outside the hotel.  Just keep in mind that there may be a wait for the bus, so budget at least 45 minutes for the transfer.

    Mickey and all his gang, including Minnie, Pluto, Goofy and Donald will be on tap for dinner.  Bring your camera. There will be lots of photo ops, as this is one of the best Character Dinners, in my opinion, at Disney with lots of quality time with the characters who have never rushed us at a meal.
