We’re celebrating my daughter’s birthday at Crystal Palace. Will she receive a special dessert? Can we bring our own candles? Blowing out the candles is what our soon-to-be 3 year-old is looking forward to the most! Thanks for your help!

    Hi Jessica,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Birthdays at the Walt Disney World Resort are truly magical!

On several visits, we have been celebrating a birthday or two. While dining at The Crystal Palace on one of those visits we did receive a few mini cupcakes and a birthday card signed by all of the characters. Winnie the Pooh's handwriting was...interesting! Although the mini cupcakes were delicious and the card adorable, I would also consider ordering from Disney Floral & Gifts or one of the Cakes from Walt Disney World Resort for your daughter's birthday.

Our girls have adored balloons from Disney Floral & Gifts and the Mickey Mouse Celebration Cake is super cute. Feel free to bring your own candles, be sure to place an advanced order for your cake should you choose to order from Cakes at Walt Disney World Resort, and check with a cast member at the restaurant to confirm your order when you arrive.

Of course, in our family, our entire vacation becomes birthday trip. Remember to indicate that you are celebrating a birthday when making your vacation package or resort hotel reservation. Feel free to contact a cast member if you need to add this note to your reservation. Pick up a few celebratory buttons when you arrive and let the party begin.

Jessica, be sure to have your 3-year old practice marching - when Winnie the Pooh and friends start the Pooh-rade, they expect little ones to join!

    Magic and memories,
    Donyell
