Hi, there!
Welcome to planDisney, Levon. I'm so excited to hear you're going to be celebrating your daughter's birthday at the Walt Disney World Resort in just a few days! I can't think of a better place to celebrate her special day.
Have you purchased your Theme Park Tickets and booked
Theme Park Reservations? At this time, Guests need
both for entry into the theme parks. With your Theme Park Tickets and Theme Park Reservations, you and the birthday girl will be all set for pixie-dusted adventures in the theme parks!
When you enter the first theme park you plan to visit, be sure to stop by Guest Relations to request a complimentary birthday button. With a birthday button, your daughter will receive well wishes from Cast Members and Guests alike! It makes for a great souvenir too.
A birthday calls for a celebratory meal. If you haven't booked a dining reservation for your visit, check out the
online reservation system for availability. Some of my favorite restaurants for a birthday celebration include
Chef Mickey's,
Be Our Guest Restaurant, and
Hollywood & Vine. Don't panic if you can't find availability. You can certainly stop by the restaurant the day of your visit to ask about same-day availability. Speaking of a celebratory meal, you'll certainly need a cake!
Mickey Mouse Celebration Cakes can be ordered at several dining locations throughout the Walt Disney World Resort. They aren't just cute, they're delicious too!
Is your almost-7-year-old a princess fan? Take her birthday shopping at
Sir Mickey's, a storybook shop just behind Cinderella Castle. There you'll find every princess gown and accessory she could want!
I hope this was helpful, Levon. I'm wishing your daughter a magical birthday celebration at the Walt Disney World Resort!
