Celebrating my daughter´s 6 birthday at Magic Kingdom on 3 July 2014. Apart from the birthday button to be picked up at the main gate of the park, what else we can do for making it a special day? how can I book a special breakfast or something el

    Hi Maria:

There is no better place to celebrate a birthday or plan a special vacation than at Walt Disney World.  Besides the birthday button, here are some more ideas to make the visit extra special:

    • Arrange a special character meal, like at Chef Mickeys, where your daughter can meet her favorite characters in a party atmosphere.
    • If you are staying on property, let the Cast Members know at check-in that it's your daughter's birthday. It's possible the front desk may be able to help arrange some Disney magic.
    • Contact the Dream Makers at Disney Floral and Gifts at (407) WDW-GIFT or (407) 939-4438. If you are staying on property, they can help create a personalized in-room celebration.
    • Consider giving your daughter a transformation at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique
    • If you are interested, many Disney restaurants carry a "Celebrate Today" cake in chocolate or vanilla that can serve up to five.  Simply order the cake when you check in at the restaurant front podium.  Prices are subject to change, but the cake generally costs about $21.00.  If you would like to order a larger customized cake, call the cake hotline in advance at 407-827-2253.  Prices will vary depending on size and customization.
    • Buy your daughter a balloon on Main Street

    Enjoy your vacation.
