We will be celebrating christmas at disney during the second weekend of December. We are not purchasing the Christmas party ticket but I was wondering if that means that we cannot see the firework, parade, castle show. do we have to buy the extra ticket?

    Hi Katie!

Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is by far, one of my favorite parts of the holiday season at Walt Disney World. Disney Parks does such an amazing job at getting their guests in the holiday spirit, and this special event is a wonderful representation of how much they love to help us celebrate. To see snow falling on Main Street U.S.A. is one memory that guests from 1 to 100 years old will cherish!

All guests are more than welcome to enjoy the new show A Frozen Holiday Wish, where Queen Elsa lights up the Dream Lights all over Cinderella Castle. Guests are also welcome to enjoy Holiday Wishes: Celebrate the Spirit of the Season. During last year's Christmas Party, I do remember seeing guests without the official special event wristbands enjoying Mickey's Once Upon A Christmastime Parade, so hopefully that will be the same experience this year. While these amenities are offered, you will need a ticket to enjoy the special holiday Meet and Greets, riding on certain attractions within Magic Kingdom and, my favorite, enjoying deliciously warm cookies and delectable hot cocoa. I've heard the Meet and Greets alone will be beyond amazing this year, so guests with tickets are going to having a great time!

I hope this answers your question, Katie. If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask us at any time. We're always here to help.

    Have a fantastical Disney day!
