    We will be celebrating Christmas Day at the Magic Kingdom, could you please suggest a restaurant we could reserve for a special dinner. We will have 10 people in our party, ages 8-65.

    Hi Jim!

    What a wonderful way to celebrate the joy of the Christmas season - at the Magic Kingdom!

    I would like to suggest you try to obtain an Advanced Dining Reservation at my family's favorite, The Liberty Tree Tavern.

    The Liberty Tree Tavern has a very traditional, and yet very festive, Colonial America atmosphere, which always makes me feel like I am experiencing an authentic, early American Christmas!  The food is served "family style", where the servers bring the heaping plates of food directly to your table, and the members of your party serve themselves, asking the servers for "refills" whenever needed.

    The food itself is very traditional, typical American style Christmas food:  roast beef, turkey, gravy, mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese, vegetables, and more.  You may find some additional choices on their Christmas menu.  The food quality has always been superb, and my family eats here almost every time we visit Walt Disney World - it's my husband's favorite, hands down!

    It is also in a great location if you are going to catch a parade just after eating, as the parade route passes right by this restaurant.  Don't plan on being able to see the parade from inside the Liberty Tree Tavern, however.  The window panes are that early American style "wavy" glass, which would give the parade a bit of a "dreamy" quality!
