We are celebrating birthdays during our trip, where and when can I let the restaurants know this for a little extra magic?

    Hello, Patti!

Walt Disney World Resort is a magical place to celebrate birthdays! Be sure to note your celebrations when making your Disney Resort hotel reservations and pick up Birthday Buttons upon arrival so that Cast Members and other Guests can offer birthday greetings and celebrate with your family. I also note celebrations on our advanced dining reservations and then follow up when I check-in at the restaurant's podium. My son is always in awe when a server has a birthday greeting for him. If you have already made your reservations and did not include your celebration, no worries! You can call a Disney Reservation Specialist who can add a note to your reservations for you.

If you plan to have cake at your celebration, then you have a few options. You are welcome to bring in your own cake as long as it does not require refrigeration. Six-inch cakes are also available in chocolate and vanilla and can be ordered upon arrival at most table-service restaurants. If you would like a cake in the shape of Mickey Mouse or a customized cake made to your specifications, then give the Cake Hotline folks at least 72 hours notice so that they can Customize your Celebration

I hope you have a magical time celebrating during your trip! Please let us know if we can be of further assistance as you plan your upcoming visit.

    Happy Planning!
