We're celebrating a birthday while at WDW. What's the best birthday experience that we can surprise a 10 year old with?

    Hi Laura,

Thanks for sending yet another question my way! How awesome that you'll be celebrating a birthday during your upcoming vacation. The phrase "best birthday experience" is quite relative, but here are a few ideas:
    • Grab a birthday button. These little treasures can unlock so many great surprises during your stay. Cast Members are always on the look out for birthday guests to do fun things, be part of the many shows and more. Once you check into your resort, or enter the park and visit Guest Services, ask for that button!
    • Be present for Rope Drop. One of the best things Cast Members will do at Rope Drop of any theme park is to look for the most enthusiastic guests to, again, do some pretty awesome things. Armed with a birthday button, your 10 year old just might be to do something that only a few people are able to at Walt Disney World. Lead a parade? Take a special tour? You never know!
    • Visit The Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique or The Pirates League. Whether your 10 year old is a pirate or a princess, these two experiences are a perfect celebration for any birthday. They are given special attention, and if you announce that this is a birthday celebration, Cast Members will go out of their way to make the experience extra special.
    • Book a Dessert Party. The Tomorrowland Terrace Fireworks Dessert Party and the Illuminations Sparkling Dessert Party are two of the most exciting events that are centered around the amazing fireworks shows at Magic Kingdom and Epcot. Booking this experience for the whole family would be a great way to celebrate a birthday, with fireworks as a bonus!

I hope this answered your question, Laura. If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask at any time. I'm always here to help.
