How exciting that you’re planning an epic birthday trip to The Most Magical Place on Earth! You’ll also be staying at my family’s home-away-from-home when we visit
Walt Disney World Resort:
Shades of Green.
Make sure you’re ready to make those birthday dinner reservations for
Cinderella’s Royal Table 180 days in advance of your visit. This is one of the most popular
restaurants at Walt Disney World Resort, and reservations fill up fast. Another of my favorite birthday destinations, though, is
California Grill at
Disney’s Contemporary Resort. From its outdoor breezeway you’ll have an amazing view of
Magic Kingdom Park’s
Happily Ever After fireworks (with the soundtrack piped in through the speakers). It’s a gorgeous way to end an evening at Walt Disney World Resort!
My family and I also love celebrating special occasions at
Disney’s Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show at
Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. We’ve attended this show for our wedding anniversary, Thanksgiving dinner, and both my and my daughter’s birthdays, too. They even bring up the Guests who are celebrating birthdays and teach them a little birthday dance! It’s a lot of fun.
If you want to take some time to relax, the
Magnolia Spa at Shades of Green has a wonderful package called the Magnolia Grand. This 2.5 hour experience includes a massage, facial, foot massage and a special paraffin hand treatment. It is a magical way to unwind! You’ll also find amazing
spa experiences at
Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa (which is just a hop, skip and a jump away from Shades of Green).
