    We'll be celebrating the baby's 1st b-day on our trip, we have dinner plans for Chef Mickeys. Our original plan was to go a few weeks later to celebrate both our girls birthdays, my ? is what can I do to keep my oldest from feeling jealous or less special?

    I know just how you feel--we went to Disney last September on my son's 2nd birthday. My daughter was 4 at the time and I was worried she'd feel left out. But she wasn't. In fact, she was super excited that it was his birthday. She wanted him to wear his Birthday pin and make sure people saw it and responded!

    I think part of it is that she got to do so much more stuff than her little brother--because she's taller and older. So, focusing on that might help. Like, "You are so big! You get to ride the roller coaster with Daddy!".

    You could also plan something special just for her--it could be as simple as getting a picture with her favorite character all by herself or letting her choose which snack everyone gets during the parade.

    Also, including her in planning the meal or other birthday stuff will help her feel important!

    I hope this helps! I'm pretty sure your daughter will be so excited at Chef Mickey's it won't matter whose birthday it is!
