Celebrating an anniversary In October 2011..looking for a nice dinner restaurant for us and our 13 year old son. Something kinda cool, different experience but normal dinner menu. Would like maybe a show or something to make a great memory.Any suggestions?

    Hi there J!

The entire Moms Panel would like to take this opportunity to wish you a happy anniversary.  If you haven't already enjoyed the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Review at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground on a previous trip, then I would highly recommend this dining experience.  It's a rootin', tootin' good show with fun music and very traditional American fare for dinner.

If you are looking for a more quiet and sophisticated dining experience, consider booking a reservation at The California Grill atop Disney's Contemporary Resort.  There is no dinner show here but the views of the Magic Kingdom are mesmerizing.  If you plan to have dinner later in the evening, you can watch the fireworks above Cinderella Castle right from this restaurant.  Now that's a great way to make a magical memory that you can hold in your heart forever.

To book dinner at either of these locations, call (407) WDW-DINE as far as 180 days before the date of your arrival at Walt Disney World.

Wishing you a magical anniversary celebration!
