Hi, there!
Welcome to planDisney, Erica. I'm so glad you stopped by with your questions! I can't think of a better place to celebrate a birthday than at the Walt Disney World Resort. Let's chat about planning your kiddo's special day!
I'm assuming you already have a reservation booked at a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel. If you'd like your son's pals to come to that Disney Resort hotel, they would need to be listed on that reservation to celebrate in your room or at the pool. If those friends
are listed on your reservation, you'd be welcome to use the table in your room or a table at the pool to enjoy a birthday cake. If they are
not listed on the reservation, you would need to register them as Day Guests at the Front Desk. Please note that depending on the Disney Resort hotel where you are staying, you may be limited in the number of Day Guests that you are permitted to register.
You may want to consider hosting a birthday celebration for your son at a restaurant in
Disney Springs.
T-REX, for example, is the perfect location! You could also make a reservation at a Disney Resort hotel dining location, like
'Ohana or
Beaches & Cream Soda Shop. If your son loves Disney Characters, a reservation at
Chef Mickey's would be super fun!
Have you heard about
Disney Meetings & Events? This unique team can plan an unforgettable celebration for your son if you're looking to really go "big" for his upcoming birthday!
Be sure to stop by Guest Relations at any of the four theme parks or the Front Desk of your Disney Resort hotel for a complimentary birthday button. With a birthday button, your son will receive well wishes from Cast Members and Guests alike!
I hope this was helpful, Erica. Please let us know if you have any other questions!
