I want to celebrate my daughter's birthday in June at Disney, I would like to know if there is a possibility of making a reservation so that mickey or minnie can sing happy birthday to her. And can I also order some cake at Disney restaurants?

    Welcome to planDisney, Mayane!

I’m so glad you brought your question here to us. I love planning special celebrations in the most special place: the Disneyland Resort! June birthdays are the best! In fact, Donald Duck and I share one just days after your princess, so I know it will be extra special!

First off, make sure to swing by City Hall on Main Street, U.S.A., and grab a special celebration button. Trust me, it's a fantastic way to ensure your princess gets loads of attention from both cast members and fellow guests throughout the day. She'll feel like a true VIP!

Now Mayane, if you're staying at one of the Disneyland Resort hotels, I recommend ordering an in-room celebration from Disney Floral & Gifts. They've got three fantastic products to choose from, including two birthday-themed choices featuring Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse. Just remember to place your order at least two days in advance, and they'll happily deliver it straight to your Guest room. Remember that product availability might change at any time.

Now, let's talk about meeting Mickey and Minnie! My favorite spot is Goofy’s Kitchen. Just this month, my toddler got an epic 2-minute and 33-second hug from Minnie in the middle of our dinner. How awesome is that?! You can even add a Mickey Mouse Celebration Cake to your meal here for an extra dose of birthday cheer.

Mayane, a visit to the new Mickey's Toontown is a must for any Mouseketeer. You and the birthday girl can swing by Mickey’s House at his house and have the cast members join you in singing happy birthday to her during the visit. Mickey won’t sing, but I’m sure he’ll play along well.

Last but not least, my pal and fellow panelist Amanda D always insists on passing through Fantasyland to receive a sprinkle of pixie dust. It's a surefire way to make any little one feel absolutely magical!

Oh, I almost forgot! From my experience, Mickey and Minnie don't typically make specific appearances for birthdays. However, I do know that they surprised Panelist Prince S on his wedding day earlier this year. So, if you're thinking of experiencing this precious moment on a grander scale, it might be worth reaching out to the amazing team at Disney Weddings. Just something to consider!

Mayane, I’m wishing your princess the happiest of birthdays next month! If you have any other questions or need more tips, just shoot me a direct message and I'll get back to you in a jiffy!

A Very Merry Unbirthday To You,
    Danielle
