I would like to celebrate my daughter's 15th birthday at Disney. Do y'all offer any birthday celebrations?

Hey there, Robert! Thanks so much for bringing this great question to us here at planDisney! I cannot think of a more MAGICAL place to celebrate a birthday than at The Happiest Place on Earth! I’ve had the opportunity to take each of my children on a special trip to Disneyland Resort. I cherish each and every one of those magical memories with them.

As a parent with a daughter the same age, I have a few ideas that may help you make it EXTRA special for her. First, the most important component to any celebration at Disneyland Resort is your birthday button! These complimentary buttons are available in both parks as you enter, either at City Hall on Main Street, U.S.A in Disneyland Park or at Guest Services in Disney California Adventure Park. It’s not a birthday at Disneyland Resort without the button!

One of my favorite things to do to celebrate special occasions in the park is to reserve a character dining experience. My personal favorites are Mickey’s Tales of Adventure Breakfast at Storytellers Cafe or Minnie & Friends - Breakfast in the Park at Plaza Inn. You are never too old to have breakfast with your favorite Disney characters!

Don’t forget to ride The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh and Alice in Wonderland attractions, as both have a birthday theme to them!

Another great way to celebrate is to add a Mickey Mouse Celebration Cake to select table-service restaurant reservations throughout the parks. When securing your reservation online, it will give you a pop-up asking if you’d like to add one of these to your reservation. This needs to be done three days at least three days in advance of the reservation. Same-day requests may be made in person upon arrival at the restaurant, but are subject to availability. Everything is more fun with Mickey-shaped sweet treats!

My last birthday tip: When you are in Disneyland Park, stop by Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique and look for a Fairy Godmother-in-training. Ask them if they have magical pixie dust and they just may be able to make your birthday girl sparkle a bit.

The Disneyland Resort is full of magical ways to celebrate any day. I hope your family has an unforgettable day celebrating your daughter’s birthday. Please come back and visit us again if you have any other questions along the way.

Sending the happiest of birthday greetings to your princess!

Well hello friend! I'm Carrie, a work-from-home mama and military wife who currently calls sunny San Diego home. We love that we are close enough to Disneyland Resort to make a last-minute trip to see the Mouse quite frequently. You'll find us in the parks braving drops and coasters to work up our appetite to take as many snack breaks as we can fit in! I love helping my friends plan memorable trips to Disneyland Resort and can't wait to help you too! Learn More About Carrie
