Hi Marta!
First of all...Happy Birthday to your little Prince! I can't think of a better place to celebrate than Walt Disney World. You are going to have so much fun!
There are oodles of ways to
Customize Your Celebration (including birthday cakes!) to really make it day to remember. I would highly recommend having breakfast with Mickey and friends at
Chef Mickey's to begin your day. Be sure to tell the Cast Member checking you in that it is your little guy's special day so they can help you celebrate! Don't forget to book an Advanced Dining Reservation as this is one of the most popular spots in all of the Parks and Resorts. I know you will absolutely love it!
Take a minute when you arrive to stop by Guest Services at the Parks to request a Personalized Birthday Celebration Button. It's Disney's way of announcing to everyone that it is his special day. By the way, if you need a quiet spot to feed or change him, head to the
Baby Care Center. There is one in every Park and they are fantastic! I would definitely recommend the slower Rides and Attractions that are
age appropriate for a one-year-old and avoiding anything with loud sounds or fast motion. And maybe build into your schedule a short nap-time in the afternoon to keep him feeling happy and at his best. Perhaps he is one who will nap in his stroller as you walk around the Parks. That would be ideal! One way or another, you will be making wonderfully magical memories with your son the minute you arrive. I am so excited for you!
Please come back if we can help you with any other planning. Have a great day!
