DH will celebrate our 6th anniv. at WDW in May. We have stayed on property many times. Have never stayed at AKL what are the best rooms and views? We don't like ground level rooms. Love this panel without you I would be lost in planning my vacations.

    Hi Lisa!

The Animal Kingdom Lodge is one of my favorite resorts at Walt Disney World!  The lobby is breathtaking and it's so much fun to see roaming animals from your resort room balcony.  I would definitely suggest a Savannah view on a high floor for the best viewing.  Floors 1-4 are the standard rooms, anything higher is considered concierge level, which is awesome if you have the extra money to splurge.  If you want to ask for specific requests, I suggest you request a room close to the lobby.  The hallways off of the lobby seem to go on forever and can be quite a hike if you are located far down.  Unless you want the peace and quiet, then by all means, the further the better.  This site has some great information for you regarding the best area to stay: http://touringplans.com/walt-disney-world/hotels/disneys-animal-kingdom-lodge

Have a magical day and happy anniversary!
