I got the Celebrate America passes for & are blocked out from the parks for spring break, but we added the water park option. Do the blockout dates apply to the waterparks? I just spoke with a CM who said we were good, but I wanted to check.

Hi there, Hannah. I’m so glad you swam by with your question. Like Ariel from The Little Mermaid, I’m happy to help you navigate these waters!

I confirmed with a friendly Cast Member that the blockout dates for your 2026 Disney Celebrates America Military Salute Ticket for the theme parks also apply to any extras included with your pass, including the water park option. So, you would not be able to visit one of the water parks on any blockout dates. While that may be disappointing, you’ll still find plenty of ways to make a splash during your visit. After all, there’s always more to explore in your part of the world. If you're staying at a Disney Resorts Collection Hotel, you’ll have access to some really amazing pools. Plus, there is currently a Disney Water Park Seasonal Pass that covers most dates through May 9, 2026, allowing you to visit the water parks multiple times for just a little more than it would cost to visit once!

There are so many amazing things going on at the resort this spring season. Of course, there’s the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival, which has become my favorite festival at the park. The Outdoor Kitchens, the Garden Rocks Concert Series, and the beautiful flower displays and topiaries are just some of the reasons it’s risen to the top of my list. Plus, you’ve got the newly reimagined Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin opening on April 8, 2026, which I cannot wait to try myself in just a few weeks. It's safe to say that springtime at Disney World will have you saying, "Look at this stuff, isn’t it neat?"

Hannah, enjoy your upcoming visit to the resort. I hope your trip is filled with magic, adventure, and plenty of moments where you can say, "I want more." If you have any other questions, I’m happy to help

Life under the sea is better than anything they got up there,
