    We are going to be on CC in May 2016. My son is a runner. He would like to run the 5k is there a age limit on the race?

    Your sailing aboard Disney Cruise Line is coming up soon! A highlight of your voyage with Captain Mickey will be visiting Disney Castaway Cay! I've been fortunate to visit this slice of Bahamian paradise many times, and it still wows me every single visit! Many of my visits to the island have started by running magical miles in the Castaway Cay 5K! I'm not sure of your son's age, but at this time Disney Cruise Line has set the minimum age for the event at 10.  The day prior to your arrival on the island, details for the run will be listed in your daily cruise newsletter, the Personal Navigator. Runners typically meet on the ship and depart for the start together shortly after the bibs are passed out. Water is provided along the path, which is a nice, flat terrain. Each time I've run, I've received a Mickey medal at the finish line and a certificate with my name in my stateroom.
