The CBR is huge...how does that effect transportation within that resort? Since there are many bus stops, which "island" would be the best to obtain a ride? And, how does one get back to the main lobby for luggage/ check-in upon hotel departu

    Hi Jennifer!

You are correct - the Caribbean Beach Resort is HUGE!  However, each village has its own pool, bus stop and neighborhood feel to it.  The first stop is either Martinique or Jamaica, depending on the bus.  Depending on your village, the following buildings are the closest do their respective bus stop:  Trinidad North: Bldg. 33, Trinidad South: Bldg.  36, Jamaica: Bldg. 46, Aruba: Bldg. 56, Barbados: Bldg. 13, Martinique: Bldg. 23.  I would just head to the bus stop closest to your room, or if you are near Old Port Royale, just wait at that stop.  Also, you will be glad to know that an internal shuttle circles the resort, stopping at each village, Old Port Royale and the Custom House.

If you are interested in getting a STANDARD room as close as possible to Old Port Royale, I would request Jamaica: Bldg. 45 or Aruba: Bldg. 51.  Whatever you do, please plan on spending an afternoon at the main pool!  It has been completely renovated and pirates have taken over - it is grrrreat!!!

    Much pixie dust,
