Hi Frank,
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! As the proud mama of three sweet kitties, reading your question made my heart happy. I’m imagining a contented cat soaking up the Florida sun, people-watching and maybe cat napping from time to time, and I’m pretty sure that’s the cat’s magical meow! After all, doesn’t everybody want to be a cat?
At this time, cats are not permitted in Walt Disney World Resort hotels or in the theme parks. There is currently a
pilot program underway that allows Guests to bring their dogs when staying at select dog-friendly resort hotels, but cats aren’t included in this program. Additionally, if you check the Animal Policies listed in the
Walt Disney World Resort Property Rules, you’ll see that only trained dogs and miniature horses who are performing duties as service animals are allowed on Walt Disney World Resort property.
Frank, have you heard about
Best Friends Pet Care? This pet resort offers boarding and kennel services for a variety of animals, including cats, for daycare and overnight stays. They offer kitty condos, playtime, spa treatments and even milk and cookies. That sounds like the purr-fect royal treatment for your cat while you’re in The Most Magical Place on Earth. To inquire about their procedures, services, and rates, please call (877) 4-WDW-PETS.
I hope this has helped, and that you’ll make like
Tigger and bounce on by if you have any further questions for us as you plan your purr-ific Walt Disney World vacation. This

Wishing you a magical vacation,
