Hi Kate,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thank you for this purrrr-ific question. I have two sweet kitties, and I understand wanting to be sure your fur-baby is well loved while you’re enjoying your vacation.
At this time, cats are not allowed at any Walt Disney World resort hotel, but have you heard about
Best Friends Pet Care? This pet boarding service is located right on property at Walt Disney World, and offers so many great amenities so your feline friend can feel like she’s on vacation too, and you can sleep well knowing your kitty is indulging her catnip wishes and cat condo dreams. If you’d like to learn more about their rates and services, please call Best Friends Pet Care at (877) 4 WDW-PETS.
Kate, I have friends who have looked for Orlando-based in-home pet sitters using pet boarding services and websites, so you may want to check into that as well. I’m wishing you so much luck finding the perfect accommodation for your feline friend!
Since you’re a cat lover and will be traveling with your kitty, a fun souvenir photo op might be to visit the
Cheshire Café near the Mad Tea Party attraction in Magic Kingdom Park. They serve a truly delicious pastry called the Cheshire Cat Tail, and I can image a fun picture with the pretty pastry in hand and the beautiful spinning tea cups behind you. After all, as the Aristocats sing, everybody wants to be a cat!
Wishing you a magical vacation,
Robyn
