    Hi, Janet!

I love to hear when a guest wants to actually relax on a Disney vacation! I think it is a great idea.  Definitely plan to spend plenty of time chillin' by the pool and having leisurely meals so you do not come home from your trip more tired than when you started.

Let's start with Epcot.  I think you might be surprised at how much your kids enjoy this park!  Just in Future World there is so much to do, starting with Spaceship Earth (you know, the giant golf ball!)  This attraction takes you through the history of communication, and it is one of my kids' favorites on property.  It ends in a fun area called Project Tomorrow with interactive activities.  Make sure your kids try "Power City."  Also in Future World is Soarin', Living with the Land, Turtle Talk with Crush, Captain EO,interactive activities in Innoventions, and so much more. You HAVE to stop by Club Cool where you and your family can try Coke products from around the world, some good and some not so good!  But its a fun, free activity that is always good for a laugh.

Your kids might enjoy World Showcase, give it a try!  I suggest booking a sit-down meal here either at Chefs de France (very good for even picky eaters, they have chicken fingers and fries!) or if your kids will eat Japanese, book Teppan Edo where your chef cooks your meal right in front of you.  There are Kidcot stations in each country where your kids can make a craft.  Visiting the Gran Fiesta Tour in Mexico is a must for each of our trips!

Plan to get to Epcot early, and see how the day goes!  If  they are done early, use the rest of the day to relax at your resort or go to Downtown Disney or any off property sites that you want to visit. Start each day early and take it an easy pace so you can enjoy all the magic just waiting for you.  Have fun!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
