Hi Cathy! I will be at WDW in Sept for 8 days with my mom and two kids (8 & 4) and we have the deluxe dp. We've only been to WDW once so I'm looking for suggestions for TS dining. What are some of your favorite spots and why? Thank you!!

    Hi, Ellen!

With two young kids, you will want to enjoy some character meals.  Favorites for my family include Chef Mickey's (Contemporary) where you can meet Mickey, Goofy, and their pals, and also Crystal Palace (Magic Kingdom) where you will dine with Pooh and his silly friends.

For a great meal and enough fun to keep your kids happy, try Whispering Canyon Cafe at Wilderness Lodge.  Teppan Edo (Japan pavilion/Epcot) is also a nice choice as your chef prepares your meal right at your table!

My kids get a kick out of Sci-Fi Dine-in Theater in Hollywood Studios where you eat in a convertible car and watch classic movie clips on the big screen.  Also at Hollywood Studios, 50's Prime Time Cafe will bring back memories of yester-year with its retro feel and "Mom" serving you home-cooked meals.

If you are looking for a fun night out, try a dinner show.  Hoop Dee Doo Revue is a big hit with the kids. Located in Fort Wilderness, the Hoop Dee Doo will have the whole family singing and dancing!

Wherever you decide on, make sure to make your Advance Dining Reservations online or by calling (407)WDW-DINE.  Enjoy!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
