Hi Cathy! Thank-you so much for your answer! 2? 1) what is a Quiet Pool? 2) I saw in pics about 5 golf carts at AOA- is there any chance that they can be used to transport grandparents and greatgrandparents to the LM rooms?

    Hi, Cheryl!

The quiet pools at Walt Disney World are generally any pools that are not the "feature pool."  These quiet pools are usually smaller, off the beaten path, and yep, a bit quieter!    The Feature Pool will have the pool activities, life guards, often snack bars, and lots of noise and fun.  The quiet pools are more laid back and more basic.  We often use the quiet pools if they are closer to our room.  We are not a picky family, so we will just hit whatever pool is the closest to us!

The Art of Animation does not have an internal transportation system like you will find at other resorts like Caribbean Beach.  If you are worried about the walk, you should request first floor rooms close to transportation.  Now since you are in the Little Mermaid section, you will have a bit of a walk regardless, but every step helps!  If your grandparents have difficulty getting around, you may want to look into wheelchair or ECV rental to make their days in the parks more manageable.

Boy are you going to have a great time with your family! They are going to be so appreciative of all your hard  work planning this magical vacation!  I am here to help, so let me know how else I can be of assistance to you.
