Hi Cathy! Thanks for answering my prev. question. Before I received your answer, we had decided on PO Riverside. Since you prefer PO FQ, can you tell me what you think about the food options- particularly breakfast options that we would have on premises?

Hi, Beth Ann!   I think you will be happy with your choice of Port Orleans Riverside!  It really is a lovely resort, especially if you enjoy taking walks.  We have stayed there several times and like the Alligator Bayou section.

At both Riverside and French Quarter, your only choice for breakfast or lunch at these resorts will be the resorts' food courts.   While Riverside does have a table service restaurant, it is only open during dinner hours.

You can find almost all your breakfast favorites at both food courts:  pancakes, eggs, muffins, and even Mickey waffles for the little ones!  To see complete menus, go to www.allears.net and click on DINING.    I like quick service dining for breakfast so we can eat then dash off to the magic!

These 2 sister resorts are just a short distance from each other.  You can walk between the 2  in under 15 minutes.   One of my favorite parts of staying at a Port Orleans Resort is the boat ride to Downtown Disney where you shop, dine, and even see a movie!

Have a great stay at Riverside and thanks for coming to the Moms Panel with your question!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is sailing with Disney Cruise Line, running (or cheering!) at runDisney events, taking hula lessons at Aulani, or vacationing at the Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. I am proud to be a part of the planDisney team and cannot wait to share my tips and advice for a magical vacation
