Cathy, thanks again for your answers about early DR at other resorts. What if you have an early reservation at Boma? Should you still go to MK and transfer from there? We don't want to miss the MK bus waiting for AK if that one will not come early.

Hi, Kimberly!   The answer to this depends on "how early!"   Buses running to the Animal Kingdom begin around 7:00 - 7:15 a.m.  So if you have a reservation earlier than 8:00 a.m. I would take the Magic Kingdom bus (which should begin around 6:30 a.m.) and do your transfer to Animal Kingdom Lodge.

If you do not need to be to Boma until after 8:00 a.m., I would wait for the Animal Kingdom bus and transfer to the Animal Kingdom Lodge.   Let your driver know where you are headed when you board.  If there is time, I have heard that sometimes they will drop you right at the resort.   Count on having to transfer, and see it as some extra pixie dust if it works out!

Be flexible!  If you are waiting for the Magic Kingdom bus at your resort and the Animal Kingdom bus comes first, hop on!  Just keep your eyes open for you best options.   Also, always allow enough time.  I'd rather be early and have time to explore the resort than be rushing.

And, finally, don't be afraid to ask a cast member at your resort for your best transportation options.  They will be happy to help.   Enjoy your breakfast at Boma.  We stayed at Animal Kingdom Lodge a few weeks ago and the breakfast buffet there looked awesome!  Enjoy!
