Hi Cathy, Thank you for answering my question regarding a cab from Boardwalk to POFQ - can you give me an estimate on the cost of the cab ride? Thank you.

Hi, Jana!  I am so glad you wrote back!  After I finished answering your question, I realized I forgot about the cab fare part!

I don't have an exact amount, but count on around $15.   My last trip when I had no car and used multiple taxis, my fares ranged from $8 to $18 depending on the distance (I was at Pop Century, so I was a bit farther out than most resorts.)

My only warning is the taxis can spoil you - door to door service without hopping on the bus is pretty nice!   But when going resort to resort, it really does save a lot of time transferring and in my opinion, well worth the money.  For traveling to theme parks, I think the buses are fairly efficient from the French Quarter (so much so that on my last stay there, we rarely used our rental car.)

Enjoy visiting the Boardwalk, and if time permits, stop by Beaches and Cream and treat yourself to the "Kitchen Sink."   It is a sundae like you've never seen - enjoy!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is sailing with Disney Cruise Line, running (or cheering!) at runDisney events, taking hula lessons at Aulani, or vacationing at the Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. I am proud to be a part of the planDisney team and cannot wait to share my tips and advice for a magical vacation
