Cathy talked about the Guide to the Magic for Kids. It looks so neat and like a great way to help the kids plan and look forward to the trip. I have a 7 year old who will love it! I wonder if it would be appropriate for my 11 and 12 year old.

Hi, Jeremy!   I think the Guide to the Magic for Kids would be great for an 11 and 12 year old.  There is a place for journal entries and for writing favorite activities from your vacation, and the older kids would probably enjoy this as well as all the Disney Trivia.  However, you know your kids best, so look through the website to www.guidetothemagic.com to see what you think!

I have a copy of my daughter's book next to my computer  - I find it to be a good resource for Disney planning with kids.  When I travel to Disney, my parents usually come along (grandparents are the BEST to have along for a helping hand!)  On our last trip, I saw my dad reading from this guidebook more than once, he found it to be very interesting even though it is geared toward kids.

Have fun hunting for that perfect guidebook!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
