    Cathy - I saw in one of your answers that you said NOT to link MVMCP tickets to Magic Bands. I've already done this and wondering if I should remove the link, but I also don't want to lose my FP+ reservations for that day. What do you recommend? Thank you!

    Hi, Elizabeth!

    This gets a bit complicated, but here is the reason why NOT to link your special event tickets at this time:  If you are NOT entering any other park on the day of the party and you enter before 7:00 p.m.,  there is a chance that the MagicBands will read this as you entering with a Magic Your Way ticket and not actually read the MVMCP ticket, but will take off a day of park ticket.   If you are already going to use a ticket earlier in the day to enter ANY of the theme parks, you will be just fine.  This is really for the guests who are "layering" tickets onto their MagicBands.  (Guests with party tickets can enter the Magic Kingdom after 4:00 p.m.) 

    So, if your only ticket for that day is your MVMCP ticket and you have remaining days of park tickets, you may want to remove the link to avoid complications.  If you are already going to be in the parks, you should be fine.  

    If you decide to leave the MVMCP ticket on your MagicBand are are NOT visiting any other park that day, double check with your resort concierge the next day that it did not deduct a day of ticket for your party entry, but that it just recognized the party ticket.

    This is currently an issue with the Halloween Party tickets, but hopefully this will all be resolved by the time Mickey's gets ready to celebrate the holidays with us!  Sorry for so much confusion, but there are just so many ticket scenarios to work out.  Thanks for your patience!  If you need more clarification, PLEASE let me know!
