    Hi Cathy! I read in your answers that you stay at French Quarter often. We're booked at Riverside and I'm wondering how it compares. We chose it because it's close to Downtown Disney. Any shops you can recommend for my 13 year old daughter and I?

    Thanks for visiting the Moms Panel!  We love making every guest's vacation special!

    Both French Quarter and Riverside have a down-south Louisiana vibe that you are going to enjoy.  Beautiful landscaping, fun pools, and comfortable rooms await!  The biggest difference between these two sister resorts will be the size.  Riverside has about 2,000 rooms and French Quarter is only about half that size.   The resorts are within walking distance of each other and both have that fabulous boat ride to Downtown Disney.

    When visiting Downtown Disney, make sure to grab a bite to eat at Wolfgang Puck Express.  I think you will really like it!  There are many dining and snack options to enjoy, but make sure to leave enough time for my favorite activity:  Shopping!   Your adorable teen will love the fashions in TrenD.  You will also want to make  a stop in the World of Disney Store where you can find everything from household items, to t-shirts, to gifts for your very favorite four-legged furry friends at home!

    I am sure you and your teen-princess will find plenty to keep you busy while visiting Downtown Disney.  Wishing you a very magical vacation!
