Hi, Amber!
While I am an avid scrapbooker, I am "old school" with photos, paper, stickers, and adhesives! Luckily, I had some help on this from fellow Disney Moms Jill, Ashley, and Erin on the craft of DigiScrapping!
They all said they had been able to find some great resources on Digital Scrapbooks from www.scrappingthemagic.com and www.scrapyourtrip.com. I visited both sites and found some great ideas! I also looked on Pinterest and found some really cute pages and inspiration.
Personally, I do not like to scrap ahead. (Plus, I am usually so far behind, that is not a problem!) Anyway, one reason is you just don't know what magical photos you are going to take. I ended up doing an entire layout once just from the queue of Toy Story Mania! My kids were having so much fun with finding hidden Mickey's, watching Mr. Potato Head, and posing by the giant Tinker Toys that I had so many great pictures, something I never expected.
There are also some great projects you can create at
www.disneyphotopass.com. You can use photos taken by the photographers in the parks as well as incorporate some of your personal photos. It looks like it would be very simple and a lot of fun!
Good luck working on your scrapbook. What a great keepsake for you family to share.
