    What is Category 1 seating at the Mickeys Backyard BBQ?

    Hello, Joanne!

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! When dining at Mickey’s Backyard BBQ, you are in for a rootn' tootn' character dance party and show with an all-you-care-to-enjoy buffet. Guests who book Category 1 have priority seating near the dance floor and stage area as well as granted early access to the Backyard Pavilion and food and beverage stations. In my opinion, one of the best perks of booking Category 1 seating is the exclusive character encounter with Mickey Mouse and Pals before other Guests arrive. You can begin booking this dining experience up to 180 days before your visit either online by calling Disney Dining Specialist.
