    What category hotel is the new Animation Resort? (value, moderate??) Any idea what the rates will be? Thank you.

    Hi Mary Ellen,

    We at the Moms Panel share your excitement for the highly anticipated Disney's Art of Animation Resort.  It will join the value category of resorts at Walt Disney World so prices will be in line with the other value resorts currently in operation there.  Since there will be many family suites at the new resort, I would imagine the prices for those rooms would be similar to rates for the family suites at Disney's All-Star Music Resort.  Non-suite rooms will likely be comparable in price to the standard rooms at the neighboring Pop Century Resort.  Since Disney's Art of Animation Resort is not scheduled to open until the summer of 2012, we are not yet able to book rooms at this resort.  We have to wait a few more months until exact prices are released.  It's exciting to have a new Disney resort to look forward to though, isn't it?
