Ahoy, Tammie!
Welcome back to planDisney! It's great to see you again as you prepare to set sail with Mickey and friends in just a few short weeks.
I don't know about you, Tammie, but I love the functionality and beautiful design of
Disney Cruise Line staterooms. On most ships (with the exception of the
Disney Adventure, which offers some unique stateroom options), Category 5A indicates a Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Verandah on a higher deck. On the
Disney Fantasy and
Disney Dream, you can find this category on Decks 9 and 10, while on the
Disney Wish,
Disney Treasure, and
Disney Destiny, this category is found on Deck 10. If you happen to be sailing on the
Disney Magic or the
Disney Wonder, a stateroom in Category 5A can be found on Deck 7. Deluxe Oceanview Staterooms with Verandah typically sleep 3-4 Guests and offer a split bath. You can view your specific room number under "My Reservations" on the Disney Cruise Line website or in your
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App, and
deck plans are also available online to find the exact location of your room on the ship.
Did you know that Disney Cruise Line offers
room service, and most items are included in the cost of your cruise? If you haven't enjoyed sailing with a verandah before, trust me when I tell you that there is nothing quite as peaceful as enjoying a morning cup of coffee as the sun rises over the ocean - all from the comfort of your private verandah. You'll find room service breakfast menus conveniently located in the desk drawer of your room. Simply fill out your choices, mark your requested delivery time, and hang it on your door before going to bed. The next morning, you'll wake up feeling like true Disney royalty!
Tammie, I hope this information has been helpful and that you enjoy a wonderful time on your upcoming cruise. If you have any other questions, please stop by to see us again here at planDisney - we're all ears!
SEA ya real soon!
