Can any of the casual dining locations accommodate cooking oil requests? I'm unable to tolerate refined cooking oils. I can eat olive, coconut, avocado oils, ghee, animal fat. I'm making resys for table service, but more options would be nice

From one Liz to another, welcome to planDisney!

Thank you for cooking up such a great question for us to look into. Much like Remy, our favorite little chef, Walt Disney World Resort is committed to excellence in its culinary offerings. This includes accommodating guests with special dietary needs. I just spoke with a helpful Cast Member who shared that each Walt Disney World Resort restaurant individually determines which cooking oils will best serve its menu, so for the most accurate information on available accommodations and substitutions, you will need to present your request to each restaurant or quick-service location individually. If you were hoping to have a bit more specific information regarding your options before arriving at The Most Magical Place on Earth (we do like a plan here at planDisney, after all), I would suggest contacting a Cast Member by email at Special.Diets@DisneyWorld.com with your inquiry.

Did you know that quick-service dining locations have their allergy-friendly menus available on both the Walt Disney World Resort website and the My Disney Experience mobile app? I always enjoy perusing those so that I can get a sneak peek at what delicious magical dining awaits. Finally, if you haven't already, be sure to check out the Special Dietary Requests information on the website. I think you will find it has useful details regarding the availability of accommodations at smaller dining options such as the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts Food Studios that will be open during your vacation.

I hope this was helpful, Liz. Enjoy your magical vacation, and feel free to stop back by with any questions that may arise!

    Cheers to a tasty 2024,
    Lizzie
