Can you see the castle show from the boat

Hi, Denise, and welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

There's nothing like ending your Disney day with the amazing Happily Ever After show at the Magic Kingdom Park. With the gorgeous fireworks display and the absolutely incredible, how-in-the-world-do-they-do-that projections on Cinderella Castle, it's a must-see for many Guests during their Walt Disney World Resort vacations.

I see that my fellow Panelist Amy gave you some great suggestions for viewing the show both inside the Park and afloat on the Seven Seas Lagoon with special experiences like the Ferrytale Dessert and Fireworks Cruise, which is offered on select nights. On nights when the Ferrytale Dessert and Fireworks Cruise isn't offered, you may be able to time a ride on the ferry between the Magic Kingdom and the Transportation and Ticket Center so that you can see the fireworks. You won't really be able to see Cinderella Castle itself, however, so you'd likely miss the projections portion of the show.

There are some other great spots outside the Park for viewing the fireworks, too. You can pull up a spot on one of the beaches at the Resort hotels surrounding the Seven Seas Lagoon or at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground. And for an extra special treat, book a dinner reservation at California Grill, high atop Disney's Contemporary Resort. You'll enjoy a breathtaking view of the fireworks along with some exquisite food.

I hope this helps you end your Disney day with a bang, Denise! Please don't hesitate to stop by and see us again if you have any other questions!

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
