    Castaway K 5k - If BOTH parents want to run is there childcare/kids clubs open during the race? Where & How? Also can an 8 year old run with us...I saw that min is 10, but can he run/walk without officially being in the race?

    Thanks so much for sailing back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel as you plan for your exciting high-seas adventure. Have you started thinking about what you're going to pack? The Packing List for Disney Cruises is one of my favorite resources to reference prior to our cruises. It will give you great ideas of things you might want to bring along with you from home!

    Disney's private island, Castaway Cay, is my favorite port of call! I love beginning the day on the island by running in the Castaway Cay 5K. Currently, the minimum age for Guests wanting to participate in this fun event is 10 years of age. I'm sorry, but your little pirate is unable to participate in this event with you. With that being said, he will have a super fun place to go while both parents are running! Scuttle's Cove, the Youth Club on Castaway Cay, will be open for parents wanting to enjoy the 5K. Once you've finished the race, you can pick him up and enjoy the rest of the day in paradise!
