    Will there be a 5K on Castaway Cay when the Disney Dream docks there on July 19, 2022?

    Ahoy there, Allison! Welcome to planDisney. I'm so glad that you sailed our way with your question. 

    I love to start my day on Castaway Cay with the 5K race! There's something that feels so great about pounding the pavement in paradise before relaxing and enjoying all that the island has to offer. At this time, the Castaway Cay 5K group race has been paused, but that doesn't mean that you can't enjoy the course! Anyone that is interested can run the 5K race on their own and participants can receive a finishing medallion for their accomplishment. More information on when and where to pick up your medal will be available on the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app. 

    After your race, I recommend that you give snorkeling in the snorkeling lagoon a try! Did you know that there are white buoys that are floating above some of the fun treasures to discover under the sea? Just last week my family snorkeled and found a statue of Prince Eric from The Little Mermaid.
